Note:  With our official "Gay Into Straight America" journey completed, all of our future events will be posted on our website Stand UP Speak OUTPlease visit and click on the Events icon.  If you are interested in having us speak or present a workshop, click here to contact us.

Gay Into Straight America will be continuously updating and adding events as we travel throughout the country.  Only upcoming events are listed below; events that have taken place drop off this page.

In addition to specific events, much of our journey will consist of day-to-day interactions, as we travel and create authentic connections with people.  It is called the "attractor factor" and it happens "easily and naturally" as we remain open to attracting those who are wrestling with their understanding about GLBT persons, or those who are wrestling about being a GLBT person and fully accepting their authentic self.

Looking for examples of this attractor factor?  Following are two.

Fundraising concert

Performers:
Ter-ra, comprised of Teri Payton and Sara Sanders

Sara Sanders and Teri Payton share the perfect mix. Alone, each voice is gorgeous, powerful and full of life, but when they harmonize, all boundaries of brilliance and beauty are broken. Each song is unique in its feel and instrumentation, but they all carry the signatures of Terra's poignant songwriting and smooth harmonies.  Adding to a certain quiet mystique, Terra's intimacy and respect for each other as people and as artists are evident on stage. They share an infectious enthusiasm for their music and performance, and their sincere enjoyment of one another is playfully aware.

Anne Weiss will also be performing!
Click here for reviews about this fabulous entertainer!

Anne Weiss is described as "unique."  She studied classical piano, joined a street gang, become a mountaineer, developed a guitar obsession, working as a political organizer, learned to salsa dance, and become addicted to delta blues; and yes, you will hear it all in her music.

Combining contemporary folk, blues, acoustic funk, gospel music and smatterings of classical phrasing and Latin rhythms, Anne is known for her enormous bluesy voice, great guitar chops, and striking state presence.  Anne's first recording work was with Shawn Colvin and Patty Larkin. , and before long she was opening concerts for Richie Havens and Dar Williams, who calls her "inspiring."

Thank you, Sara and Teri, and Anne for your support!
