Note:  With our official "Gay Into Straight America" journey completed, all of our future events will be posted on our website Stand UP Speak OUTPlease visit and click on the Events icon.  If you are interested in having us speak or present a workshop, click here to contact us.

Gay Into Straight America will be continuously updating and adding events as we travel throughout the country.  Only upcoming events are listed below; events that have taken place drop off this page.

In addition to specific events, much of our journey will consist of day-to-day interactions, as we travel and create authentic connections with people.  It is called the "attractor factor" and it happens "easily and naturally" as we remain open to attracting those who are wrestling with their understanding about GLBT persons, or those who are wrestling about being a GLBT person and fully accepting their authentic self.

Looking for examples of this attractor factor?  Following are two.

This summer concert is going to be great! Imagine three fabulous artists from previous house concerts coming together in one evening.

Lucie Blue Tremblay, Kym Tuvim, and Amber Darland have said "yes" to this fundraiser to support "Two Women & a Poodle," Dotti, Roby, and Rylee Joy as they begin their yearlong journey.

During Lucie's recent concert in the Bellingham, WA, area in May, she shared her awesome voice and musical abilities, and then charmed folks with her incredible wit. For over 17 years, Lucie Blue has performed in Canada, the US, France, Spain, Australia and New Zealand, at various folk venues and women’s music festivals. In 2002, she was awarded the “Jane Schliessman Music Award” for “Outstanding Contributions to Women’s Music 2002.” Visit her website www.LucieBlueTremblay.com

This month, Curve Magazine has this to say about Lucie Blue Tremblay
Still Got IT! This French-Canadian songstress has shared the stage with everyone from Jane Siberry to Pete Seeger, but she’s still one of indie music’s best-kept secrets. With numerous albums under her belt, including her first four recordings, which she re-released on her own label with pianist friend Daniel Loyer, Tremblay has gained enough lesbian fans to fill stadiums, in part because of her ability to combine politics and love songs without missing a beat. Her new CD, It’s Got to Be About Love, celebrates the courage of LGBT people and their allies to live by example. The CD insert tells us all we need to know about Tremblay: It’s actually a wedding album of Tremblay’s lesbian and gay fans at the altar and at home.

So, whether you have already signed up to attend, are undecided, or havent yet responded, we want to let you know what a great opportunity this is to see three great women performers: Lucie Blue Tremblay, Kym Tuvim, and Amber Darland.  Open the Evite and use the "Invite more people" to send this invitation to your friends! :

Whether it is her gutsy blues or tender ballads, Kym Tuvim's music will wow you, and her soulful voice will inspire and heal you. The genuine passion and drive behind Kym's vocals and lyrics will literally blow you away! Check her out at www.KymTuvim.com

Amber Darland is our local gal with loads of talent and heart! Her solo acoustic act features original works, infused with personal insights regarding faith, love, loss and hope. Bring it on, Amber!

The setting will be outdoors in the beautiful backyard of Marcy's and Michelle's home, so bring your lawn chairs! (No dogs, please) As usual, our concert includes a potluck dinner, which begins at 5 p.m with the music beginning at 7 p.m. Our hosts have requested that this be an alcohol-free event.
